History of Delta Mu

The Delta Mu chapter of Alpha Chi Omega was founded at the University of Massachusetts Amherst on February 18th, 1961. Over the past 63 years of sisterhood, our chapter has grown to new heights. We currently have 87 active collegiate members who are actively involved in and out of the chapter. We pride ourselves on having a sisterhood that is loving and accepting of sisters of diverse backgrounds and interests. Delta Mu hosts a number of different philanthropy events throughout the year which benefit Safe Passage, the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation, and Baystate Children's Hospital. We are constantly looking for new ways to engage our sisters academically and philanthropically and create bonds that will truly last a lifetime.
