“From joining Alpha Chi my freshman year to now being a junior I can confidently say Alpha Chi has been one of my biggest blessings in college. It has given me my best friends, unconditional support, and memories to last a lifetime. Even now abroad I know that I have all my sisters back home as a support system that I am endlessly grateful for!”

“When I went through recruitment in the fall I wasn’t sure what I was looking for in a sorority, but the minute I talked to the girls in alpha chi I knew I would be able to feel at home. I know that these girls will always be there for me and that I can always be myself. I can confidently say I have met some of my best friends and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!”

“As I finished my fall semester of freshman year at UMass, I knew something was missing so I decided to go through COB for Alpha Chi. Going through spring recruitment was such an incredible experience and I am so glad I did it. Alpha Chi has given me so much — an amazing fam, my best friends, and a sisterhood that makes UMass a home away from home. I am so grateful to be a part of this chapter and to call all of these gorgeous, inspiring girls my sisters!”

"Going into my first semester at UMass, I wasn't sure joining a sorority was for me, but now I can confidently say that joining Alpha Chi has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I love that being in AXO has connected me with not only other girls at UMass, but girls across the country as well. AXO has allowed me to be a part of something bigger than myself which I am so thankful for. Being an Alpha Chi at UMass means that you always see a familiar face in your lectures, dining halls, and everywhere else across campus which is very comforting, especially as an out of state student. Each and every sister is so kind, loving, and supportive and pushes me to be my best self every day."

"When I decided to go through formal recruitment during my sophomore year, I knew I wanted to find something that made UMass feel more like home, especially as an out of state student. On my first day meeting Alpha Chi, I could immediately tell how close all of the girls were and how genuine their bond was, and I knew that was something I wanted to be a part of. Since joining Alpha Chi, it has not only given me the home away from home I was looking for, but also countless academic, social, and leadership opportunities and my best friends for life. I truly cannot imagine my college experience without this chapter!"

"After the end of my freshman year I felt like I was missing something. I really wanted to branch out and get involved in something meaningful so I decided to join Alpha Chi in my sophomore year fall. I'm so glad I did because it has really made my college experience!!! I have made some amazing memories and friendships & these girls are some of the most kind, inspiring, intelligent people I have ever met! My time at UMass wouldn't be the same without them."

Ava Pretzel
"Coming into freshman year as an out of state student my biggest fear was not being able to find a home away from home or that group of girls where I could be 100% myself. Looking back, I couldn't imagine my college experience without Alpha Chi. Not only has this chapter allowed me to find some of my truest friends but has also given me the support to grow into a person that I am truly proud of. I am incredibly grateful and proud to be apart of such a great chapter with the best girls!"

Patience Peterson
"I was really hesitant to go through recruitment at first. I was nervous about the process and worried I wouldn't find my place but as soon as I joined Alpha Chi, I knew I had made the right choice. On bid night I met the sweetest girls and immediately felt all the love between the chapter. As a new member I gained this love very quickly and made that I couldn't imagine my life without now. I feel endless support from the girls in this chapter and since joining my life has changed so much for the better. I found the best fam and found my best friends through AXO and am forever grateful that I decided to go through recruitment. Not only did I find the best people within Alpha Chi, I gained a web of friendships with girls that joined other chapters and received so much love and companionship from the Panhel community.

"If you had told me at the end of high school that I'd join a sorority, I probably would've laughed it off. I didn't go through recruitment my freshman year because I wasn't sure if it was something I would connect with or feel comfortable in. But when I decided to as a sophomore, everything changed. From the moment I met the women in Alpha Chi Omega, I felt something different. I met a group of women who were genuine, passionate, and truly supportive of one another. What really solidified my decision was our philanthropy. Alpha Chi's commitment to raising awareness about domestic violence and supporting survivors spoke to me on a deeper level. Domestic violence awareness is something we always show up for, whether it's hosting events, fundraising, or even just starting conversations for that matter. Being part of a chapter that uses its voice to uplift others and advocate for change has been incredibly meaningful. I am proud every day to be an Alpha Chi."

"Going through recruitment as a transfer student was an intimidating process. I was so nervous that I wouldn't find a sorority that was right for me, but after I met the girls of Alpha Chi, all of that changed. I had never met a more genuine group of girls and I could feel the love between everyone in that room. After receiving my bid, I soon learned that I can turn to these girls for anything, and I know they'll always be there for me. I have made the best friends in AXO and I couldn't imagine UMass without them."
