Camryn Gray
"I joined Alpha Chi because I wanted to feel more connected and really make the most of my time in college, and it ended up becoming so much more than I expected. I was hoping to meet new people and make friends, but I didn’t realize I’d find some of my closest friends and people who genuinely feel like family. Some of my favorite memories have come from this experience, from getting my littles to traveling to headquarters to grow my leadership skills. I also loved the opportunity to give back to the community and be part of something that has a bigger purpose. The networking aspect was definitely a bonus too, just being surrounded by motivated and supportive people who push me to be better. My parents being in Greek life and always speaking so highly of it also played a role, but now I finally understand why they loved it so much. Overall, joining Alpha Chi has given me friendships, memories, and a sense of belonging that I’ll carry with me long after college."

"I chose to go Alpha Chi because I had only heard good things about this sisterhood, and while being part of it, I've only seen how true those words were. I've not only grown as a person, but I've created bonds with girls that I never would have if I didn't join Alpha Chi. I love my girls and my sorority, and wouldn't have wanted my college experience to be any other way."

Izzie Reyes
"I resonated with Alpha Chi’s authenticity and diversity. Everyone is welcomed and accepted in this chapter and it’s evident in our sisterhood."

Allison Vamossy
“Joining Alpha Chi was one of the best decisions I have made in college so far! I decided last minute during my Sophomore year to go through informal recruitment in the spring. Although I had always wanted to join a sorority, I was unsure how it would fit into my already existing life at UMass. However, after meeting with girls in the chapter, I instantly knew Alpha Chi was home. Everyone I talked to was so welcoming, kind, and supportive. I chose Alpha Chi Omega because of the close knit and genuine sisterhood, whether it’s saying hi to a sister walking across campus, grabbing dinner after sisterhood or driving to chapter together, having a network of genuine and uplifting girls who I can always rely on is what makes AXO so special. I really could not be more grateful to be part of such an amazing organization and I cannot wait to make more memories with my sisters!”

"My why Alpha Chi is my big Camryn and my little Colleen. They have truly made this chapter feel like a home, and I am so grateful to have them in my life."

Angela DeCarolis
“Deciding to go through formal recruitment as a sophomore I felt like I was behind and wouldn’t be able to find the right home. Immediately within walking through the doors to the girls of alpha chi I felt an overwhelming sense of support and welcoming that turned the seemingly scary process into an exciting one. I knew these were the girls I can genuinely be myself around. Since joining I have met some of my best friends, including my big, who I now can’t imagine life without. I am forever grateful that I went axo, and I feel so empowered to be surronded by a group of such real. strong. women. ❤️💚”

"I didn't grow up with a sister, and now I know that there is truly nothing like a sisterly bond. Now I have over 100 sisters who love and support me everyday, and are always there for me when I need it.
My big, Ella, was ultimately the reason why I joined Alpha Chi. She is the big sister figure I look up to and aspire to be like her. Even though she's graduated, I still miss her everyday and always look forward to our visits with each other."

"When I was applying to colleges, I knew that I wanted to be a part of greek life and find a supportive group of women to surround myself with. Going into recruitment though, I was super nervous to meet and talk to so many new people all at once and I was so scared that I wouldn’t find people I fit with. However, the moment I stepped into Alpha Chi's room during sisterhood, I could tell something felt different. All of the girls around me seemed so genuine and like they really cared for each other which was so special to see. During that round is when I met my big Corinne. Almost immediately, when we sat down together, I could tell that this is where I was meant to be. She made me feel so welcomed and like we had known each other for years. When I found out that she was my big, I could not have been more excited. These months as a part of Corinne and Natalie's family have been some of the best of my life. I feel so lucky to not only have such an incredible big and gbig, but such amazing sisters in my life and I can't wait for what's to come in this chapter!"

"I chose alpha chi because it instantly felt like home. Every time I went back to alpha chi, I felt so welcomed and so comfortable with all the girls. I'm so happy that I joined alpha chi because of all of our events, like sisterhood, retreat, formals, date parties (etc.). There are so many ways to get involved in the chapter and this has made me grow as a person. I am so lucky to have met some of my absolute best friends and girls I could not see me going through college without. Alpha Chi has such a welcoming atmosphere and I would not be the person I am today without axo."

"Going through recruitment as a transfer student was an intimidating process. I was so nervous that I wouldn't find a sorority that was right for me, but after I met the girls of Alpha Chi, all of that changed. I had never met a more genuine group of girls and I could feel the love between everyone in that room. After receiving my bid, I soon learned that I can turn to these girls for anything, and I know they'll always be there for me. I have made the best friends in AXO and I couldn't imagine UMass without them."

Patience Peterson
"I was really hesitant to go through recruitment at first. I was nervous about the process and worried I wouldn't find my place but as soon as I joined Alpha Chi, I knew I had made the right choice. On bid night I met the sweetest girls and immediately felt all the love between the chapter. As a new member I gained this love very quickly and made that I couldn't imagine my life without now. I feel endless support from the girls in this chapter and since joining my life has changed so much for the better. I found the best fam and found my best friends through AXO and am forever grateful that I decided to go through recruitment. Not only did I find the best people within Alpha Chi, I gained a web of friendships with girls that joined other chapters and received so much love and companionship from the Panhel community.

"If you had told me at the end of high school that I'd join a sorority, I probably would've laughed it off. I didn't go through recruitment my freshman year because I wasn't sure if it was something I would connect with or feel comfortable in. But when I decided to as a sophomore, everything changed. From the moment I met the women in Alpha Chi Omega, I felt something different. I met a group of women who were genuine, passionate, and truly supportive of one another. What really solidified my decision was our philanthropy. Alpha Chi's commitment to raising awareness about domestic violence and supporting survivors spoke to me on a deeper level. Domestic violence awareness is something we always show up for, whether it's hosting events, fundraising, or even just starting conversations for that matter. Being part of a chapter that uses its voice to uplift others and advocate for change has been incredibly meaningful. I am proud every day to be an Alpha Chi."

Greta Russo
“From joining Alpha Chi my freshman year to now being a junior I can confidently say Alpha Chi has been one of my biggest blessings in college. It has given me my best friends, unconditional support, and memories to last a lifetime. Even now abroad I know that I have all my sisters back home as a support system that I am endlessly grateful for!”

Miranda Garrigan
“When I went through recruitment in the fall I wasn’t sure what I was looking for in a sorority, but the minute I talked to the girls in alpha chi I knew I would be able to feel at home. I know that these girls will always be there for me and that I can always be myself. I can confidently say I have met some of my best friends and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!”

Ally Eichner
“As I finished my fall semester of freshman year at UMass, I knew something was missing so I decided to go through COB for Alpha Chi. Going through spring recruitment was such an incredible experience and I am so glad I did it. Alpha Chi has given me so much — an amazing fam, my best friends, and a sisterhood that makes UMass a home away from home. I am so grateful to be a part of this chapter and to call all of these gorgeous, inspiring girls my sisters!”

Eva Reduto
"Going into my first semester at UMass, I wasn't sure joining a sorority was for me, but now I can confidently say that joining Alpha Chi has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I love that being in AXO has connected me with not only other girls at UMass, but girls across the country as well. AXO has allowed me to be a part of something bigger than myself which I am so thankful for. Being an Alpha Chi at UMass means that you always see a familiar face in your lectures, dining halls, and everywhere else across campus which is very comforting, especially as an out of state student. Each and every sister is so kind, loving, and supportive and pushes me to be my best self every day."

Elisabeth Dominguez
"When I decided to go through formal recruitment during my sophomore year, I knew I wanted to find something that made UMass feel more like home, especially as an out of state student. On my first day meeting Alpha Chi, I could immediately tell how close all of the girls were and how genuine their bond was, and I knew that was something I wanted to be a part of. Since joining Alpha Chi, it has not only given me the home away from home I was looking for, but also countless academic, social, and leadership opportunities and my best friends for life. I truly cannot imagine my college experience without this chapter!"

Keira Johnson
"After the end of my freshman year I felt like I was missing something. I really wanted to branch out and get involved in something meaningful so I decided to join Alpha Chi in my sophomore year fall. I'm so glad I did because it has really made my college experience!!! I have made some amazing memories and friendships & these girls are some of the most kind, inspiring, intelligent people I have ever met! My time at UMass wouldn't be the same without them."

Ava Pretzel
"Coming into freshman year as an out of state student my biggest fear was not being able to find a home away from home or that group of girls where I could be 100% myself. Looking back, I couldn't imagine my college experience without Alpha Chi. Not only has this chapter allowed me to find some of my truest friends but has also given me the support to grow into a person that I am truly proud of. I am incredibly grateful and proud to be apart of such a great chapter with the best girls!"
